Biography

Lawrence G. Gordon was licensed to practice in the State of Illinois in 1987 after graduating from Bradley University and Ohio Northern University and is a former principal of Gordon & Gordon, Ltd., which was initially established in 1962 by his father, Justice Robert E. Gordon, of the Illinois Appellate Court, who retired from the practice of law in 1996.

Larry concentrates in personal injury and workers compensation cases and is a well-known practitioner in that area of law, and many of his referrals are from other lawyers throughout the legal community. Larry also concentrates in all areas of personal injury. Larry personally oversees all workers compensation cases in the firm and has many years of trial experience at the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. He has handled cases throughout the State of Illinois, including but not limited to Cook, Lake, Will, DuPage, Kane and McHenry Counties, and wherever the client needs representation in the State.

Larry’s philosophy is that the injured worker should be given assistance in receiving their weekly disability in a timely manner, excellent medical care and fair permanent compensation for their injuries.

Larry prides himself on being available for his clients seven days a week and wherever the need arises. And all clients are given his personal cell phone number.

Larry also handles personal injury cases, including but not limited to motor vehicle collisions, medical malpractice, premise liability accidents, and construction related accidents.
